Under Construction!

St. Monica is under construction! We have been waiting so long to get our portables attached, and it is finally happening for us! The Kinder Kottage has been turned, the Music Portable moved beside it. They have been mounted on steel piles for a permanent foundation. New concrete has been poured for the new entrance door and hallways. Portables for the YMCA After School Care are arriving any day and they will be placed adjacent to the first portable hallways. It will be self-contained, though, with its own entrance facing west. The children have been learning so much about the construction process and the excitement has been a constant part of our day. We're hoping that construction will be completed within a few weeks, and Mrs. Novak's kindergartens will be able to return to their classroom home.

Telecollaborative Projects: Seasons

Seasons

This project is part of a provincial collaboration under the coordination of teacher, Sandra Gluth, from Edmonton Public Schools. Both Miss Borrelli and Mrs. Vaage were part of this project. Unfortunately, because of a technology glitch, the photos for these projects were lost. However, the written description has been retained and shared here in the hopes that they will inspire you in some way.
